We install James Hardie fibre cement and LP SmartSide engineered wood as certified installers for both, along with vinyl and metal siding, in lap, panel and board and batten profiles. A good siding job is mostly about what happens before the first board goes up: sound sheathing, a properly lapped weather barrier, flashing bent on site around every window and door, and trim detailed so water runs off instead of in.
We pair new siding with new gutters and downspouts sized for the roof, sloped to move water toward the downspouts and away from the foundation, so the whole exterior works together. Whether you're replacing hail damaged siding on one elevation or redoing the whole house in a new look, we handle the layout, the colour samples and the cleanup.

What siding lasts best in Calgary?
Fibre cement like James Hardie and engineered wood like LP SmartSide both handle hail, wind and freeze thaw well and hold paint for years. Vinyl costs less up front but is more likely to crack in a hailstorm. We install all three and will walk you through the trade offs.
Do I need new gutters with new siding?
Not always, but it's the best time to do it, since the fascia is exposed and the colours can be matched. If your gutters are dented, sagging or overflowing, we'll recommend replacing them in the same job.
Is siding covered by insurance after hail?
Hail damaged siding is often covered. We document the damage and work with your insurance provider.
