Why does soffit need to be vented?
Soffit vents are the intake for attic ventilation. Air comes in at the eaves and leaves at the ridge. Without that flow, heat and moisture build up, which can lead to frost, mould and ice dams.
Can you replace just the fascia?
Yes. We can replace or wrap fascia on its own, though we usually recommend checking the gutters at the same time since they hang from it.
